Debate Between Minister Ara and Hercules Becomes Spectacle in Tanah Abang

Minister of Housing and Settlement Areas Maruarar Sirait briefly debated with GRIB General Chairman Jaya Rosario de Marshal, alias Hercules, regarding land ownership in Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta. Maruarar stated that the inspection in the Tanah Abang area was part of accelerating the provision of housing for the community. PT KAI Director Bobby Rasyidin said that the land is currently controlled illegally by mass organisations. Maruarar then questioned the land’s status again and emphasised that the state must not lose to such conditions. Meanwhile, Hercules is convinced that the land does not belong to the state because he has complete proof. Hercules also explained that if the land is owned by the state, he will hand it over as soon as possible.
