Deaths from Israeli aggression in Lebanon have reached 3,073 since March

Beirut (ANTARA) - The death toll from Israeli strikes in southern and eastern Lebanon, as well as the southern outskirts of Beirut, has reached 3,073 people since 2 March, with 9,362 others wounded, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health. ‘The total number of casualties from the aggression from 2 March to 20 May stands at 3,073 dead and 9,362 injured,’ the Lebanese health ministry said on Wednesday. It was noted that 53 people were killed and 83 others wounded in Israeli strikes over the last two days. The official ceasefire between Lebanon and Israel remains in place, although Israeli aircraft and artillery continue to strike Lebanese territory every day. The Lebanon-based Hezbollah group launched counter-attacks against Israeli forces along the border area.
