Iranian state media reports that at least 19 people have been killed in a series of United States military attacks across several provinces in the country. The deceased include both Iranian military personnel and civilians.

In Kermanshah Province, western Iran, at least four personnel from the IRGC Aerospace Division were killed due to the US strikes, according to Mehr.

The same agency reported that a commando member, identified as Malek Mouserv-Tabar, died on Wednesday (2/9) morning during an operation to intercept infiltrating drones in the Bahmai District, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province, in western Iran.

Citing authorities from Hormozgan Province in southern Iran, Mehr reported that at least four people were killed and 68 others injured in a US attack that struck a wedding ceremony in the Sirik District. The victims in that area included a four-year-old child, a teenager, and two women.

In a separate statement, as reported by Al Jazeera, the spokesperson for the Iranian Ministry of Health, Hossein Kermanpour, reported that approximately 142 people have been injured so far by the series of US attacks. This figure includes 61 women and 44 males under the age of 18.

Kermanpour’s report noted that at least 18 people had died in the US attacks in Iran.
