Death Toll in Gaza Continues to Rise, Reaching 73,110 Amid Ongoing Israeli Attacks

The death toll from Israeli aggression in the Gaza Strip continues to mount. Medical sources in Gaza report that the number of fatalities since October 2023 has now reached 73,110, with a further 173,599 people injured. The majority of the victims are women and children. Although a ceasefire came into effect on 11 October, Israeli forces have continued to breach the agreement. The casualty figures remain incomplete, as many victims are still trapped beneath the rubble, beyond the reach of ambulance and rescue teams. In the past 24 hours alone, eight bodies and 17 wounded individuals were brought to hospitals in Gaza. Since the ceasefire began on 11 October, the number of dead and wounded has reached 1,084 and 3,491 respectively, while 799 bodies have been recovered from the debris.
