A dealer of certain controlled drugs (OKT) was caught red-handed while attempting to conduct a transaction using the cash-on-delivery (COD) system in Rancabungur, Bogor Regency. A total of 160 tablets of the controlled drugs Tramadol and Triheximidine were seized.

“We have secured one individual suspected of being a dealer of certain controlled drugs. The suspect’s initials are SE (27). The suspect acts as both a dealer and a user,” said the Chief of Rancabungur Police, Ipda Yudhi Widhiana, on Monday (8/7/2026).

Yudhi stated that the suspect, SE, was arrested at a motorcycle workshop in Kampung Karacak, Rancabungur. At the time of the arrest, the suspect was waiting for a buyer to complete a Tramadol purchase via the COD system.

“The suspect was arrested during the COD process. He was caught at the workshop, but he is not an employee there. The suspect arrived at the location after receiving an order,” Yudho said.

“The evidence secured includes 130 tablets of Tramadol, 30 tablets of Triheximidine, Rp 130,000 in cash suspected to be proceeds from sales, a mobile phone, and one black bag,” he added.

Preliminary investigations revealed that SE admitted to receiving supplies of controlled drugs from an individual in Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta. For the past two months, the suspect has been purchasing supplies twice a week.

“The drugs are purchased from the Tanah Abang Market in Jakarta, routinely twice a week. The suspect has been operating for two months, according to his confession. Therefore, in addition to being a dealer, the suspect is also a consumer,” Yudhi explained.

“The suspect was arrested following information from residents regarding an individual suspected of selling certain controlled drugs at that location. Following an investigation, we successfully apprehended him,” Yudhi said.

“The suspect and the evidence will be handed over to the Bogor Regency Police Narcotics Unit for further legal proceedings,” he concluded.
