De Gadjah Appointed Head of Garuda TV Bali by Prabowo

Made Muliawan Arya, commonly known as De Gadjah, has been appointed Head of Bureau (Kabiro) for Garuda TV Bali by Prabowo Subianto. De Gadjah stated that he received direct instructions from the President of the Republic of Indonesia.

“The instruction from Mr Prabowo was to appoint me directly as Head of Bureau to lead Bali. I must work together with all parties so that Garuda TV can soar high in Bali,” De Gadjah said in a written statement on Sunday (15/3/2026).

De Gadjah continued, explaining that Prabowo has requested that Garuda TV in Bali be expanded and made competitive with other television networks. He expressed hope that Garuda TV’s presence would provide information that is factual, objective and beneficial to the public.

“Presenting information that truly serves the public interest,” added the Chairperson of Gerindra’s Regional Board in Bali.

De Gadjah also said he has communicated with officials in Bali, including Governor Wayan Koster. In addition to overseeing central government programmes worthy of monitoring, Garuda TV is also committed to supporting regional government programmes that benefit the public.

“I have already communicated with the Governor and there are no other interests besides serving the public, and this was welcomed well by the Governor,” De Gadjah stated.

Garuda TV operates under PT Sinergi Multi Media. Yosep Yulius Diaz, the Chief Executive Officer of PT Multi Media, expressed hope that this cooperation would be part of efforts to strengthen the infrastructure and work networks needed by Garuda TV.

“And naturally, we also need a strong team and a strong network. Greater awareness of Garuda TV,” said Yosep.

“With Garuda TV present, let us move together; the spirit is about how the company can expand it. Let’s get started first and then experience will hone us to become better,” he concluded.
