Riyadh, Saudi Arabia — The Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO) has launched the second edition of the Digital Prosperity Awards (DPA), opening applications and nominations for eligible digital solutions from the public sector, private sector and civil society in member and non-member states.

The awards recognise technology-based solutions, initiatives and contributions that deliver measurable socio-economic impact, accelerate digital transformation and foster an inclusive, sustainable and prosperous digital economy. The inaugural awards were presented to seven winners in February 2025.

DCO Secretary-General Deemah AlYahya said: “A prosperous digital future is being shaped by the vision, commitment and creativity of governments, innovators, organisations and communities that embrace digital cooperation. Together, they are turning opportunities into progress and technology into tangible, measurable impact in people’s lives. Through the second edition of the Digital Prosperity Awards, we recognise outstanding solutions that advance digital prosperity for all. The awards bring these achievements to the global stage, connecting them with wider networks, new opportunities and partners who can help scale their reach and impact. We invite innovators and organisations across our member states and around the world to come forward and share solutions that can transform lives, strengthen communities and open new pathways to opportunity. Your ideas, determination and leadership can help ensure that the digital future we build is inclusive, sustainable and prosperous — a future in which every person and community has the opportunity to thrive.”

Under the theme “Building the Future, Today”, the second edition recognises solutions that improve access to services, empower communities, support business growth, foster innovation and expand digital participation. The seven award categories include Digital Enablers, Digital Innovation and Digital Society, alongside three top awards recognising digital prosperity in member and non-member states.

Alaa Abdulaal, DCO Head of Digital Economy Intelligence, said: “We are looking for solutions that can prove their value, not simply describe their ambition. The strongest submissions will demonstrate that they address real challenges, deliver measurable results and have the potential to extend their impact beyond their current context.”

Solutions submitted to address challenges and deliver measurable impact will undergo eligibility checks and due diligence, then be assessed by an international panel of experts against approved criteria. Winners will receive their awards at the Digital Prosperity Awards 2027 ceremony.

Applications and nominations close on 4 January 2027. Details of the categories, eligibility requirements and application guidance are available at https://dpa.dco.org.
