DCI E2 Surabaya is designed with reliable internet infrastructure and serves as a redundancy for Jakarta, enabling low-latency internet traffic for eastern Indonesia.

Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT DCI Indonesia Tbk (stock code: DCII) is prepared to operate the E2 Surabaya data centre facility with a capacity of 9 MW in the first half of 2026, after construction is completed in the fourth quarter of 2025.

Corporate Affairs Director of DCI Indonesia, Indri Koesindrijastoeti, stated that the construction of this data centre building was completed in less than 12 months. According to her, this demonstrates the superiority of time to market in the data centre industry.

“DCI E2 Surabaya is designed with reliable internet infrastructure and serves as a redundancy for Jakarta, enabling low-latency internet traffic for eastern Indonesia,” said Indri during a public expose in Jakarta on Monday.

Indri added that this expansion not only strengthens DCI’s position as an industry leader but also demonstrates the company’s commitment to continuously providing world-class, scalable, and future-ready digital infrastructure.

Most recently, in 2025, DCI Indonesia has introduced and operated the JK6 data centre building located at H1 Campus Cibitung, with an IT capacity of 36 MW.

Indri said that this new facility was built in less than 12 months, involving around 3 million safe man hours, and constructed 100 percent by local contractors.

“This achievement affirms the company’s time-to-market superiority in executing the DCI platform expansion to meet customer demand,” said Indri.

“All of this forms our foundation in supporting the reliable and sustainable growth of national digital transformation,” she added.

Currently, Indri continued, DCI Indonesia is trusted by more than 270 customers from various sectors, both international and local.

This ecosystem includes six global cloud providers, five global social media platforms, Indonesia’s largest e-commerce, more than 100 financial institutions including banks and global insurance companies, over 60 enterprise and SOE customers, as well as more than 80 network service providers.
