Day 9 of Hajj Operations: 122 Kloter Flown to the Holy Land

Entering the ninth day of the 2026 Hajj pilgrimage operations on Wednesday (29 April 2026), 122 kloter have already been dispatched to the Holy Land. “Cumulatively, the number of pilgrims who have departed for the Holy Land totals 122 kloter with 47,834 pilgrims,” stated Moh. Hasan Afandi, Head of the Public Relations Bureau of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah (Kemenhaj), during a press conference on Wednesday. Meanwhile, for arrivals in Madinah, Hasan said there have been 113 kloter with 44,315 pilgrims. “The entire arrival process has proceeded orderly with Hajj officials on standby to provide services from the airport to the hotel,” Hasan remarked. On that occasion, Hasan also explained the delays in departure experienced by pilgrims at several locations. “Subsequently, the pilgrims of kloter BTH 5, who experienced a departure delay at Hang Nadim Airport in Batam due to aircraft technical issues, have been dispatched to Saudi Arabia on 27 April 2026 at 07:40 WITA and arrived in Madinah on 28 April 2026 at 15:08 WITA,” he said. In closing, Hasan advised all pilgrims to continue maintaining their health, carrying only necessary luggage, and preserving the solemnity of their worship. “May Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala always grant ease, health, and protection to all Indonesian Hajj pilgrims and make their Hajj worship accepted. Hajj friendly to the elderly, disabled, and women,” Hasan concluded.
