JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Indonesia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah (Kemenhaj) has announced that 54,604 pilgrims have been dispatched to the Holy Land on the tenth day of the 1447 Hijriah or 2026 CE Hajj pilgrimage operations.

“Up to 29 April 2026, 138 flight groups (kloter) totalling 54,604 pilgrims have been sent to the Holy Land,” said Kemenhaj Spokesperson Suci Annisa during a press conference on Thursday (30/4/2026).

Meanwhile, 132 kloter comprising 52,343 pilgrims have arrived in Madinah and are gradually occupying the hotels prepared by the government.

“Alhamdulillah, up to the tenth day of Hajj operations, the departure and arrival processes for pilgrims have run smoothly, orderly, and been well-served at all service points,” she stated.

In the health sector, five pilgrims were referred to the Indonesian Hajj Health Clinic (KKHI) and 89 to Saudi Arabian Hospitals (RSAS).

To date, 49 pilgrims remain under treatment.

Kemenhaj also conveyed condolences for the passing of two Indonesian pilgrims: Tukiman Sardi Kromo Karso (54) from kloter PDG-04 originating from Bengkulu City, and Dawanus Mahmud Muhammad Hasyim (51) from kloter BTH-05 originating from Kampar Regency, Riau.

“May all the deceased receive the best place beside Allah Subhanahu Wata’ala, and their bereaved families be granted fortitude,” said Maria.
