Davomas' profit up 79.6%

JAKARTA (JP): PT Davomas Abadi, publicly-listed firm producing
cocoa butter and powder, announced yesterday that its net profit
increased by 79.6 percent to Rp 24.1 billion (US$10.4 million)
last year from Rp 13.4 billion in 1994.

The company said in a statement that its total sales reached
Rp 128.1 billion last year, a 50.6 percent increase from Rp 85.5
billion in the previous year. (rid)
