Dave Laksono: Kosgoro 1957 Present for Community Service

Jakarta – Kosgoro 1957, one of Golkar Party’s founding organisations, has emphasised the importance of community service aimed at increasing public support for Golkar Party at every political event.

Ketua Umum PPK Kosgoro 1957 (Chairman of the Kosgoro 1957 Executive Board) Dave Laksono expressed gratitude to Secretary General Sabil Rahman, Treasurer Sari Yuliati, Ashraf Ali, Andi, Khalid Karim, and senior members of Kosgoro 1957.

Present at the event were the Chairman of Kosgoro 1957’s Organisational Advisory Board (MPO) HR Agung Laksono, former Golkar Party Chairman Setya Novanto, and Ridwan Hisyam.

Laksono made these remarks during a Nuzulul Qur’an commemoration and iftar gathering with the Kosgoro 1957 family at Masjid Raya Al Hurriyyah, Puri Kembangan, West Jakarta, on Saturday, 14 March 2026.

“Our struggle is for Indonesia, so we must not allow Kosgoro 1957, which has grown large and produced the finest cadres and achievements, to be debated and squandered for temporary interests,” Laksono said in a statement issued on Sunday, 15 March 2026.

Laksono stated that Kosgoro 1957 will continue to be a home and source of producing sincere cadres ready to fight for Golkar Party’s victory under the leadership of Chairman Bahlil Lahadila in every election cycle.

“We are all in Kosgoro 1957 to serve the public and foster public trust in Golkar Party to continue winning in every general and regional election. Therefore, Kosgoro 1957 will present the finest candidates capable of dedicating their hearts, souls and minds for the interests of the people and not for temporary gain,” he added.

During his tenure, Laksono has made maximum efforts and urged cadres not to undermine one another but to support each other. “I have done my utmost; the rest we entrust to Allah. I ask party cadres not to bring each other down but to lift one another up,” he said.

Meanwhile, Golkar Party Central Executive Board Secretary General Muhammad Sarmuji praised Laksono’s achievements as Chairman of Kosgoro 1957’s Executive Board. He noted that under Laksono’s leadership, one of Golkar’s founding organisations has grown significantly.

“Chairman Dave Laksono’s achievements in developing Kosgoro 1957 are entirely appropriate; under his leadership, Kosgoro 1957 has maximally dedicated itself to community service and outreach,” Sarmuji said.
