Daudy, Hengky face Thais in E. Kalimantan

JAKARTA: Two Indonesian boxers, super lightweight Daudy Bahari
and lightweight Hengky Tobias, are scheduled to fight against a
pair of Thais, yet to be named, in Tenggarong, East Kalimantan,
in early December.

The matches will be on the undercards of the main bout which
pits World Boxing Association featherweight champion Chrisjon of
Indonesia against his challenger Derrick Gainer of United States
on Dec. 3.

Promoter Daniel Bahari said that he would talk with his Thai
counterpart to determine his boxers' opponents.

Daniel said that it would be an eight-round fight in which
Daudy, currently ranked 12th in the WBA, will be paid US$3,000
and Hengky $1,000. -JP
