Data Sinergitama Jaya expands digital services market to ASEAN
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Technology company PT Data Sinergitama Jaya Tbk, known as Elitery, is expanding its digital services market into the ASEAN region by leveraging developments in cloud computing, artificial intelligence (AI), managed technology services, and cybersecurity.
The market expansion is directed towards Malaysia, among others, as a foothold to increase the business reach of Indonesian companies in the regional market.
Elitery President Director Kresna Adiprawira, in an official statement in Jakarta on Wednesday, said regional expansion must be accompanied by strengthening governance, financial structure, investment strategy, and international business networks so that the company can grow sustainably.
“This need is increasingly relevant as the company begins to direct its business development towards Malaysia and the ASEAN region as a stage towards a wider market,” said Kresna.
He continued that this step shows that strengthening the competitiveness of the national technology industry does not only depend on the ability to produce and master technology, but also on the company’s capacity to bring Indonesian digital services into cross-border markets.
“Regional market development also opens opportunities for national technology companies to increase business scale and obtain new sources of growth outside the domestic market,” said Kresna.
Along with this, according to him, cross-border expansion requires broader readiness because companies must have adequate capital structure, risk management, governance, and the ability to adapt services to the needs of target markets.
From a financial perspective, Elitery recorded total assets of Rp303 billion as of the second quarter of 2026, growing 2.25 percent year to date (ytd) compared to the end of 2025, with total liabilities down 8.59 percent (ytd) to Rp127 billion, while equity grew 11.75 percent (ytd) to Rp176 billion.
Furthermore, the company’s current ratio grew to 1.54 times as of the second quarter of 2026, while the debt to equity ratio (DER) fell to 0.72 times.
“The improvement in liquidity and capital structure is one of the supporting factors for the company in entering the next stage of business development, including plans to expand service reach in the ASEAN region,” said Kresna.
In terms of governance, the company continues to strengthen, among others through changes to the board of commissioners composition, namely approving the appointment of Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno as Commissioner and Meidyah Indreswari as Independent Commissioner.
Sandiaga will also lead the Strategic Advisory Council, which functions to provide strategic input regarding investment, international business development, and the financial sector.
Meanwhile, Meidyah has more than three decades of experience in auditing, state financial supervision, and risk management, including experience at the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP).
“The spirit of guidance is now formally present to strengthen discipline, governance, as well as experience and networks in the fields of investment and finance,” said Kresna.
Elitery Commissioner Sandiaga Uno said national technology companies have the opportunity to develop competencies in technologies that are increasingly needed in the digital transformation process.
“I am always enthusiastic about following technological developments such as AI, cloud, and cybersecurity, and proud to see the nation’s children mastering these fields,” said Sandiaga.
He explained that the Strategic Advisory Council will be directed to help the company formulate investment strategies, expand international business reach, and open opportunities for technology business development in the financial sector.
