Dasco Visits Bank Indonesia Headquarters This Afternoon, What’s on the Agenda?

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - After visiting the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI), Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives (DPR), Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, visited Bank Indonesia’s headquarters on Monday, 19 May 2026. The visit coincided with BI’s first Board of Governors Meeting (RDG BI) of the session.

This was revealed by Dasco after his visit to BEI. However, he did not say what time he would arrive at BI this afternoon, and he declined to disclose the purpose of his visit to BI. He asked reporters to wait for his statement at the BI building.

“We are about to go to BI now,” he said at BEI.

“Will be told later. We’ll talk about it at BI,” Dasco added.

At BEI, Dasco was accompanied by Friderica Widyasari Dewi, the Chairwoman of the Financial Services Authority (OJK); Rosan Roeslani, Danantara’s CEO; and Danantara’s COO Dony Oskaria. Dasco arrived around 11:00 a.m. WIB.

He was greeted directly by I Gede Nyoman Yetna, the Director of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI), who was present to accompany the officials arriving. Dasco, dressed in a grey suit, thanked the BEI board and OJK leadership for their hard work in facing the challenges posed by global market conditions and domestic dynamics.

“Thank you for the hard work of the bourse’s board of directors and the OJK leadership for their tireless efforts in facing the situation caused by global markets and domestic dynamics,” said Dasco.
