Dasco Meets Prabowo to Discuss Stimulus and Oil and LPG Reserves Ahead of Eid al-Fitr

JAKARTA — Deputy Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, met President Prabowo Subianto at the Merdeka Palace, Central Jakarta, on Wednesday (4 March 2026).

Secretary to the Cabinet (Seskab) Teddy Indra Wijaya said the meeting discussed a number of strategic issues that are currently drawing public attention, especially ahead of Eid al-Fitr.

‘This afternoon, President Prabowo Subianto received Deputy Speaker of the DPR RI, Prof. Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, who was accompanied by several ministers of the Merah Putih Cabinet at the Merdeka Palace on Wednesday 4 March 2026,’ Seskab Teddy said in a briefing.

One of the issues discussed was the readiness of supply and prices of foodstuffs in the implementation of the economic stimulus.

‘Among other things, the readiness of supply and prices of foodstuffs for the economic stimulus, the availability of oil and LPG reserves ahead of Eid al-Fitr, as well as issues related to geopolitical situations both domestically and abroad,’ he said.

Also present were Defence Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, Religious Affairs Minister Nasaruddin Umar, State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, and Secretary to the Cabinet Teddy Indra Wijaya.
