Dasco Meets Prabowo at Palace, Reports on Security-Economic Issues

President Prabowo Subianto held a private conversation with the Deputy Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI), Sufmi Dasco Ahmad. Dasco met with Prabowo to report on several strategic matters and current issues.

The moment was uploaded to the State Secretariat’s Instagram account on Thursday (16 April 2026). The meeting took place at Merdeka Palace in Jakarta.

Dasco is said to have reported recent developments in the political situation to Prabowo. This included matters related to national security and the economy. Additionally, he reported inputs from the legislature to the President.

“The Deputy Speaker of the DPR RI, Prof Sufmi Dasco, conveyed several developments in the political situation, national security, and the economy, as well as reported several inputs from the DPR’s legislative function to the Government,” he said.
