Dasco Escorts Students After Audience, Climbs Command Vehicle

Deputy Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR) Sufmi Dasco Ahmad escorted representatives of the student masses out of the DPR building. This occurred after both parties met inside the DPR building. Based on observations at the location on Friday (19/6/2026), Dasco was seen accompanying the students through a small gate on Jalan Gatot Subroto, Central Jakarta, at approximately 7.35 p.m. Western Indonesian Time. Besides Dasco, fellow Deputy Speaker Saan Mustopa was also present. They were seen walking together towards the mass of students who were outside. Dasco also mingled with the action masses upon arriving at the protest point. Cheers and applause greeted them. The students then made room for the representatives and Dasco. Subsequently, Dasco and Saan were seen climbing onto a command vehicle.
