Dasco, Dony, and Bahlil Coordinate Economic Growth Acceleration in Parliament

The House of Representatives (DPR RI) held a meeting with the government to discuss economic growth. The Deputy Speaker of the DPR RI, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, stated that the discussions focused on efforts to accelerate economic growth through cross-ministerial and inter-agency coordination.

The meeting took place at the Senayan parliamentary complex, Jakarta, on Monday (8/6/2026). The session was led by Dasco and attended by State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia, Minister of Law Supratman Andi Agtas, and the COO of Danantara, who also serves as the Head of the State-Owned Enterprises Agency, Dony Oskaria.

“Today’s discussion is about how we coordinate to accelerate economic growth,” Dasco said during a press conference at the DPR.

Dasco noted that the parliament and the government also discussed export governance to be implemented by DSI. Furthermore, they addressed the governance of the energy and mineral resources sector under the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.

“We also discussed the export governance to be carried out by DSI under Danantara, as well as the governance of energy and mineral resources under the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources. Additionally, we discussed how to create regulations to accelerate investment permits,” he added.

“I will first invite Mr Dony Oskaria to explain how the export governance by DSI will be conducted so that the public, market participants, and investors have clarity, as well as regarding the energy and mineral resources governance, where there are several matters that may need clarification for market participants and investors,” Dasco concluded.
