Dasco Discusses Stocks with Himbara Directors and Head of BP BUMN
Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives (DPR RI) Sufmi Dasco Ahmad held a meeting with the Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, the Head of BP BUMN Dony Oskaria, and representatives from the State-Owned Bank Association (Himbara). The meeting, which included several President Directors of these banks, focused on discussing stock performance amidst the current global situation.
The meeting took place in the leadership room of Nusantara III, the DPR RI Building in Senayan, Jakarta, on Tuesday (9/6/2026). Attendees included Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, Head of BP BUMN Dony Oskaria, President Director of Taspen Rony Hanityo Aprianto, President Director of BNI Putrama Wahju Setyawan, and President Director of BRI Hery Gunardi.
Dasco stated that stocks within State-Owned Enterprises are fundamentally strong, though he acknowledged they have been impacted by the ongoing global situation. “We have gathered this morning for coordination, specifically to discuss packages regarding BUMN stocks which are actually quite good, but have been affected by the global market situation,” Dasco said during the meeting.
He noted that this meeting is crucial given that Indonesian stocks are currently attracting significant attention from various parties. Dasco also mentioned that there are plans to consider repurchasing shares in the market. “At this time, I believe it is time for us to discuss how, at the appropriate opportunity, we might implement a buyback of these shares,” he revealed.
