PARIS (DPA): Daimler-Benz Aerospace (DASA) announced yesterday in Paris that it has won an order to upgrade and modernize 21 airports in Indonesia.

DASA, divulging the development at the 42nd International Aviation Show at Le Bourget, put the value of the deal at US$15.5 million.

The company's Airport Systems division in Wedel, outside Hamburg, will be responsible for carrying out the work to be carried out by mid-1999. Among other items, the company will install illumination equipment, electricity supply facilities and telecommunications networks at the Indonesian airports.
