Darya-Varia Laboratoria Marks 50 Years with Solid 2025 Performance, Eyes Sustainable Growth
PT Darya-Varia Laboratoria Tbk (DVLA) has reported a solid performance for the 2025 financial year, marking a significant milestone in its 50-year journey in the Indonesian pharmaceutical industry. During the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (RUPST) held on Friday (19/6) afternoon, the company announced revenue of Rp2.23 trillion, a 7% increase compared to the previous year. This achievement aligns with the company’s targets and surpasses the growth rates of both the national pharmaceutical industry and the Indonesian economy. President Director Ian Kloer stated that this performance reflects the company’s resilience and execution discipline, whilst strengthening the foundation for sustainable growth.
Growth across all business lines contributed to the positive results. The consumer health segment was the main driver, recording revenue of Rp1.26 trillion, or 57% of total revenue, with a 9.1% increase from 2024. This performance offset a 5.5% contraction in the prescription drug business, which still contributed a significant 30% to total revenue, amounting to Rp666 billion. Meanwhile, the export and toll manufacturing segment posted strong growth of 27%, generating total revenue of Rp257 billion. The company maintained healthy profitability through disciplined cost management, operational efficiency, and a strengthened product mix.
To ensure continuity in oversight and stability, shareholders approved the reappointment of Sancoyo Antarikso as Independent Commissioner and the appointment of Deddy Septiadi as Director, replacing Yustina Endang Setyowati who has retired. The positive growth trend has continued into 2026, with first-quarter revenue reaching Rp595 billion, a 9% increase compared to the same period last year. As of 31 March 2026, total assets rose to Rp2.52 trillion, with cash and cash equivalents of Rp467.06 billion, reflecting strong liquidity to support future expansion and strategic initiatives.
In line with its growth strategy, the company continues to strengthen its innovation pipeline with new product launches. In the cough & cold and nutrition categories, DVLA introduced Natur-E Glothione, Natur-E Skin Start Hand & Body Lotion, and Paratusin DMP. As part of a long-term transformation, the company officially launched DiViLab, an integrated medical technology product marking its expansion into the MedTech and Connected Healthcare sectors. DiViLab offers IoT and AI-based health monitoring solutions, including the DiViLab Optima 4-in-1 and DiViLab CORE 3-in-1 variants, enhancing its portfolio of integrated, accessible, and sustainable healthcare solutions. President Director Ian Kloer noted that five decades of experience serve not only as a reflection of past achievements but also as a strong foundation for the next phase of sustainable growth, transforming the company from a strong manufacturing base into an integrated healthcare solution provider. With this solid foundation, the company is optimistic about continuing sustainable growth, targeting revenue growth of 7-9% this year.
