Darma Henwa Diversifies Business, Establishes Three New Subsidiaries
PT Darma Henwa Tbk (DEWA) has expanded its business lines by establishing three new subsidiaries operating in the electricity, infrastructure, and hospitality sectors. This expansion is part of DEWA’s strategy to strengthen its business structure whilst creating new sources of revenue in the future.
Based on information disclosure to the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) on Friday (17/7/2026), DEWA management explained that the establishment of the three new entities was officially approved on the same date.
Mukson Arif Rosyidi, Director and Corporate Secretary of PT Darma Henwa Tbk, stated that the formation of new subsidiaries is part of the company’s long-term strategy to expand business opportunities. ‘This step is expected to support the company’s long-term going concern, as well as expand opportunities in securing new projects in the future,’ Mukson said in the disclosure.
The first subsidiary, PT DH Listrik, was established to develop business in the energy sector, particularly in power generation. This entity will carry out activities in the provision of electricity within a unified system as well as various other electricity supporting activities. Ownership of PT DH Listrik is indirectly controlled by DEWA through PT DH Investindo with a 99.90% stake and PT Cipta Multi Prima with 0.10%.
Furthermore, DEWA established PT DH Infrastruktur, which will operate in port services and various supply chain support activities. The scope of this entity’s business includes warehousing management, goods storage, domestic sea transportation for general and special goods, as well as land and water transportation support services. Similar to PT DH Listrik, the ownership structure of PT DH Infrastruktur consists of PT DH Investindo holding a 99.90% stake and PT Cipta Multi Prima holding 0.10%.
The third subsidiary, PT DH Arunika Hospitality, will engage in accommodation management services, hospitality, food and beverage provision, general cleaning services, and business management consulting for tourism and trade. Additionally, PT DH Arunika Hospitality will also operate in the provision of temporary labour. Unlike the other two subsidiaries, ownership of PT DH Arunika Hospitality is held directly by PT Darma Henwa Tbk with a 99.90% stake and PT Cipta Multi Prima with 0.10%.
With the formation of these three new entities, DEWA is expanding its business portfolio beyond the integrated mining services that have been its primary focus. Management hopes this diversification strategy will strengthen the company’s fundamentals, open up new project opportunities, and create more diverse sources of revenue growth in the long term.
