The TNI Manunggal Membangun Desa (TMMD) Sengkuyung III/2026 programme in Klaten Regency, Central Java, has successfully completed its physical and non-physical development targets.

The TMMD Sengkuyung III activities in Klaten were carried out in Sedayu Village, Tulung District, involving elements from the regional government, TNI-Polri, village officials, and the community.

The physical targets of the TMMD in Sedayu Village included the concretisation of 770 metres of road, construction of 250 metres of road retaining walls, renovation of three uninhabitable houses (RTLH), and the construction of five sanitation units.

Meanwhile, the non-physical targets consisted of outreach on national insight, population administration, and various other educational materials aimed at enhancing the knowledge of the village community.

All physical and non-physical development targets of the TMMD Sengkuyung III/2026 in Sedayu Village, Tulung District, Klaten, have been fully completed at 100 per cent or in accordance with the targets.

Dandim 0723/Klaten, Lieutenant Colonel Inf Slamet Hardianto, representing Pangdam IV/Diponegoro at the closing ceremony of TMMD Sengkuyung III on Thursday (13/8), expressed appreciation and gratitude to all parties who had supported the TMMD activities in Sedayu Village.

The success of the TMMD programme is the result of strong synergy between the regional government, TNI-Polri, and the community in working together and collaborating for a full month.

“I extend my highest gratitude and appreciation to the regional government and related OPDs, TNI-Polri personnel, and all members of the community who have contributed and worked hard in the TMMD activities, enabling them to run smoothly and successfully,” he said.

According to Pangdam IV/Diponegoro, the implementation of TMMD 2026, which carries the theme ‘TMMD Unites Steps to Build the Nation from the Village’, is aligned with the direction of national development policy that places villages as the primary foundation in realising equitable development and improving community welfare.

“We hope that all the development results achieved through the TMMD programme can provide real benefits for the community in the long term. Therefore, the facilities that have been built should be maintained and cared for together,” he said.
