Danareksa distributes 1,000 aid packages to disability community
Jakarta — State-owned holding company Danareksa, together with all holding members, distributed 1,000 food aid packages to people with disabilities as part of its commitment to strengthening social concern and inclusion for vulnerable groups.
Agus Widjaja, Corporate Secretary of the Danareksa BUMN Holding, stated that the activity represented a tangible manifestation of synergy within the Danareksa ecosystem in supporting the government’s development agenda concerning equitable social welfare distribution.
“This aid distribution also represents the strengthening of human resources aligned with the pillars of Asta Cita,” Agus said in a statement in Jakarta on Wednesday.
Agus conveyed that the Ramadan assistance was distributed to disability communities simultaneously across five cities: Jakarta, Pasuruan, Demak, Makassar, and Medan.
The social initiative was orchestrated by the Danareksa BUMN Holding through its inclusive Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (CSER) programme, supported by all holding members, including PT Medan Industrial Zone, PT Jakarta Industrial Estate Pulogadung (Perseroda), PT Nusantara Bonded Zone, PT Wijayakusuma Industrial Zone, PT Integrated Industrial Zone Batang, PT Surabaya Industrial Estate Rungkut, and PT Makassar Industrial Zone.
Additionally, PT Nindya Karya, PT Asset Management Company, PT Indonesia Futures Clearing, PT Jalin Pembayaran Nusantara, PT Danareksa Finance, PT Danareksa Capital, and PT Balai Pustaka also participated.
“As a holding oriented towards value creation and welfare, we orchestrate all holding members so that the social initiatives we implement have greater scale and measurable impact,” Agus stated.
He described the simultaneous food aid distribution as concrete evidence of the Danareksa BUMN Holding’s commitment to providing direct benefit to society at large, particularly vulnerable groups that are often not reached by regular programmes.
“The selection of these five cities represents the breadth of our operational reach and the commitment of all Danareksa holding members across various regions in Indonesia,” he explained.
To ensure the aid reached its intended recipients, the Danareksa BUMN Holding partnered with Alunjiva, which oversees disability empowerment movements in Indonesia.
Through this initiative, the Danareksa BUMN Holding committed to continuing to promote CSER programmes that foster a just, inclusive, and empowering social ecosystem.
Fany Efrita, Co-Founder of Alunjiva Indonesia, expressed appreciation for the Danareksa BUMN Holding’s role in continuously driving inclusive social initiatives.
“Collaboration like this demonstrates that active participation from all holding members delivers impact that can reach more people in need,” she said.
