JAKARTA - Danantara’s COO and Head of the State-Owned Enterprises Financial Supervisory Agency (BP BUMN), Dony Oskaria, stated that his team will resolve the issue of PT Wijaya Karya (WIKA) incurring a loss of Rp 1.6 trillion due to the Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Train project, or Whoosh.

“Yes, that’s one example. So, we’ve been sorting out the old issues. They won’t be involved in the railway anymore, because it’s not in line with their business,” Dony said at the Palace in Jakarta on Tuesday (7/4/2026).

“So, we’re resolving them one by one. I’m sure everyone knows, for instance, there’s WIKA here, and also related to the railway with Bukit Asam and so on. We’re sorting and tidying this up,” he added.

He emphasised that he does not want to merely address surface-level problems.

“So, we’re looking at them one by one, starting to scrutinise, right? Yesterday, PT Pos already changed its board of directors, then we’ll consolidate its 15 logistics companies. And then asset management. In Danareksa, we’ve also shifted them one by one. This week, all Danareksa subsidiaries will move to DAM, so Danareksa will be clean,” Dony elaborated.

Throughout 2025, PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk or WIKA recorded a loss of Rp 9.7 trillion, while in 2024, the company’s net loss reached Rp 2.33 trillion.

At PT Pilar Sinergi BUMN (PSBI), WIKA holds a 33.36% stake.

It is known that PT PSBI is the majority shareholder in PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC).

WIKA itself is one of the state-owned enterprises assigned as a shareholder in PT KCIC, while also being involved in working on the Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Train project.

Meanwhile, in 2024, the portion of the loss that WIKA had to bear at PT PSBI amounted to Rp 1.57 trillion.
