Danantara to Lead Mutual Fund AUM After State-Owned Investment Manager Merger

JAKARTA. The Danantara Investment Management Agency has finally merged four state-owned investment managers (MI). The prospective largest MI in Indonesia is set to gain a number of competitive advantages as a result of this action. Danantara’s Chief Operating Officer, Dony Oskaria, stated that the decision was made to combine PNM Investment Management (PNM IM), BNI Asset Management (BNI AM), BRI Manajemen Investasi (BRI IM), and Mandiri Manajemen Investasi (MMI). The latter will become the surviving entity.
