Danantara to Gather Global Technology CEOs in Jakarta
Danantara will hold the Danantara Technology Innovation Investment Forum (TIIF) 2026 next week.
Danantara Indonesia Chief Technology Officer Sigit Puji Santosa said the event was an effort to build a domestic investment ecosystem. The initiative also supports the government’s economic programmes.
“We are holding TIIF with the aim, first, of building a platform. This is an obligation for Danantara. We must develop an ecosystem—an industry and investment ecosystem—and also support the government’s economic programmes,” Sigit said at a press conference on Monday (19 October 2026).
He said industries with a significant economic impact could be built by developing investment-based industries.
Danantara hopes the forum will lead to follow-up action and produce a range of agreements that can be pursued after it concludes.
“Of course, we do not want this to end with the forum. Our measure of success is how many deals we carry out during the event,” he said.
TIIF will take place in Jakarta from 26 to 28 October 2026 under the theme “Investing in Tomorrow: Advancing Technology, Innovation, and Sustainable Growth”.
More than 1,500 participants are expected to attend, including 170 global innovators, 131 CEOs of global technology companies, 67 research and innovation centres, and more than 50 state-owned enterprises.
Speakers from a range of backgrounds are also planned, including Indonesian government representatives, Nobel laureates and global technology companies.
The event will also include stakeholder meetings on topics including energy; agriculture, food and health; advanced materials and semiconductors; transport and infrastructure; finance and banking; and artificial intelligence, digital infrastructure and telecommunications.
Pahala Nugraha Mansury, Danantara’s Managing Director of Global Relations and Communications, said the event would focus on building trust with stakeholders in technology and innovation. In turn, they would gain a better understanding of conditions in Indonesia and the opportunities to develop investment in the ecosystem.
“Through this platform, we hope they will understand how Danantara and Indonesia are working to develop investment, technology and innovation. Through these interactions and discussions, we can build greater confidence that we are serious,” Pahala said.
