Minister of Investment and Downstreaming, who also serves as Chief Executive Officer of Danantara, Rosan Roeslani, announced that Danantara is preparing a housing programme to sell assets built by state-owned enterprises (SOEs) that have yet to be sold. “We will hold Danantara Housing so that the public can purchase with more attractive interest rates and a better payment system,” Rosan said after meeting with President Prabowo Subianto at the Presidential Palace complex on Monday (27/7). Rosan explained that the assets in question include apartments and houses. According to its official website, Danantara Housing is an exhibition for the public to obtain information and various home ownership solutions within a single integrated ecosystem. The event is scheduled to be held by the government in collaboration with property developers and the Association of State-Owned Banks (Himbara) from 27 to 30 August 2026. In addition to Danantara Housing, Rosan stated that during the meeting from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., he also reported to President Prabowo Subianto on the progress of streamlining or merging SOEs. He noted that by the end of this month, the number of streamlined entities had reached 250, with the potential for further increases. “This includes the merger of asset management in banking and the financial sector, and we have also completed PNM,” he said. Danantara is also carrying out streamlining in the logistics, healthcare, and hospitality sectors, including hospitals.
