Jakarta (ANTARA) – Danantara Indonesia is connecting national strategic industries with advanced technology, global innovation ecosystems, scientific expertise and long-term global capital through the Danantara Technology Innovation Investment Forum (DTIIF) 2026.

The event, which will be held in Jakarta from 26 to 28 October 2026, will focus on six industries considered pivotal to the future: energy; agriculture, food and health; advanced materials and semiconductors; transport and infrastructure; finance and banking; and artificial intelligence, digital infrastructure and telecommunications.

“Going forward, we hope Danantara will become a pioneer and driver of technology-based industry in Indonesia, as well as of investment in the sector,” Danantara Indonesia Chief Technology Officer Sigit Puji Santosa said at a press conference in Jakarta on Monday.

Sigit said DTIIF 2026 aims to establish a platform that can strengthen the industrial and investment ecosystem while supporting the Indonesian government’s programmes.

He said developing technology- and innovation-based industries was a key step towards creating the greatest possible economic impact. Danantara therefore hopes the forum will be more than a meeting place and will produce concrete agreements and investment partnerships.

“The measure of success will be how much investment and how many partnerships or strategic partnerships we establish through this forum,” Sigit said.

Danantara Indonesia Managing Director for Global Relations and Communications Pahala Nugraha Mansury said DTIIF would also serve as a platform for building trust and deepening engagement with global stakeholders.

Through the forum, Danantara also aims to give international stakeholders an opportunity to see Indonesia’s capabilities in technology and innovation at first hand, including the contributions of Indonesian researchers, academics and companies.

Pahala said direct interaction among stakeholders would demonstrate Indonesia’s commitment to building a technology and innovation ecosystem, while strengthening global partners’ confidence in investment opportunities in the country.

DTIIF 2026 is expected to attract around 1,500 participants over three days, including 170 global innovators, 131 chief executives of global technology companies, 67 research and innovation centres, and more than 50 state-owned enterprises (SOEs).

The forum will also be attended by Nobel laureates, sovereign and institutional investors, government leaders, academic partners and emerging start-ups.

The first day will focus on setting shared priorities and developing global partnerships under the theme “Strategic Outlook and Global Partnership”.

The second day, themed “Technology, Innovation, and Investment Collaboration”, will connect technology and ideas with industry and capital.

The third day will focus on developing an inclusive and sustainable innovation ecosystem for future generations under the theme “Youth, Inclusion, and Sustainable Future”.

Following opening remarks from government leaders, ministers and global economic leaders, Danantara Indonesia’s executives will present its flagship investments and company portfolio in a C-suite session.

The forum will also feature plenary sessions, including a Nobel Laureate Lecture, sector showcases, project pitches, business-matching sessions and closed-door bilateral meetings.

Confirmed speakers include senior Indonesian government representatives, Nobel laureates and representatives of global technology companies, including Google and Microsoft. Further speakers will be announced closer to the forum.
