Danantara to Be Involved in KSSK Decision-Making
Danantara Investment Authority Chief Executive Officer Rosan Roeslani has stated that the agency will be involved in the decision-making process of the Financial System Stability Committee (KSSK). This follows the resignation of Bank Indonesia Governor Perry Warjiyo.
“The KSSK has been asked to involve Danantara in every decision-making process, so that it has a direct impact on the economy and business, not just from the fiscal and monetary side,” Rosan said after a limited meeting with President Prabowo Subianto at the Presidential Palace Complex in Jakarta on Monday, 27 July 2026, as quoted by Antara.
Rosan said Danantara’s involvement in the KSSK is directed at expanding financial sector policy coordination to consider not only fiscal and monetary aspects, but also the impact on the economy and the business world. “So it’s more about the whole ecosystem. The direction is KSSK Plus, Plus Danantara,” Rosan said.
He stated that the directive is part of the coordination following President Prabowo’s limited meeting with several parties, including acting Bank Indonesia Governor Destry Damayanti. When asked whether Danantara would attend the government’s regular economic team meetings, Rosan confirmed that the directive points towards Danantara’s involvement in every meeting. “Yes, that was the direction,” Rosan said.
Previously, Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi conveyed the resignation of Perry Warjiyo as Governor of Bank Indonesia, which was announced on Monday morning. The government has accepted Perry’s resignation letter and temporarily appointed Senior Deputy Governor Destry Damayanti as acting Governor of Bank Indonesia.
Rosan emphasised that Danantara did not propose any names for the definitive Governor of Bank Indonesia position. According to him, the determination of the candidate for Governor of Bank Indonesia is the President’s prerogative. “Oh no, that is the President’s prerogative,” Rosan said.
Perry Warjiyo resigned from his position as Governor of Bank Indonesia after serving for approximately seven years. The government stated that the resignation was voluntary due to personal reasons, while the process of filling the definitive Governor of Bank Indonesia position will follow the applicable legal mechanisms and regulations.
