The Daya Anagata Nusantara Investment Management Agency (Danantara Indonesia) targets the completion and release of its financial statements within this month, or October 2026.

“God willing, it will be completed this month (October 2026),” stated the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Danantara Indonesia, Dony Oskaria, following an Executive Breakfast Meeting held by IKA Fikom Unpad in Jakarta on Friday.

Dony revealed that Danantara Indonesia’s financial statements are currently in the audit stage by the Audit Board of Indonesia (BPK), while a private audit has been conducted by the ‘big four’ auditing firm, EY (Ernst & Young).

In addition to the release of financial statements, Dony confirmed that the agency will continue to undertake the arrangement and restructuring of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) under Danantara’s management.

He explained that the streamlining process is being carried out through several schemes, including closures or liquidations, divestments, consolidations, and restructuring. For the restructuring scheme, methods such as equity increases, asset injections, and loan restructuring will be utilised.

He continued, noting that the process of determining which companies fall into each scheme has been completed, with the objective of simplifying the number of companies managed by Danantara to approximately 200 companies by the end of 2026.

Previously, the BPK stated that it had commenced an examination of Danantara Indonesia’s consolidated financial statements for the 2025 fiscal year.

The BPK explained that the scope of the financial statement audit includes the examination of BPI Danantara, PT Danantara Aset Manajemen (DAM), PT Danantara Investasi Manajemen (DIM), and all SOEs within the BPI Danantara structure.

“The BPK is committed to overseeing the governance and accountability of BPI Danantara as the foundation for high-quality financial reporting,” said BPK Member VII, Slamet Edy Purnomo.

This examination is described as one of the BPK’s strategic audits to ensure the fairness of financial statements while strengthening the governance and accountability of financial management within the BPI Danantara structure.

Ultimately, the BPK audit aims to provide an opinion on the fairness of Danantara’s financial statements.

The BPK will assess the compliance of the financial statements with accounting standards, the adequacy of disclosures, adherence to laws and regulations, and the effectiveness of internal control systems.

The financial statement audit is conducted using a risk-based approach, including the identification of risks regarding material misstatement, fraud, misuse, non-compliance, or weaknesses in internal controls.
