Danantara targets completion of financial report within 1-2 months
Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Danantara Indonesia, Dony Oskaria, is targeting the completion of Danantara’s financial report within the next one to two months, following the consolidation of financial statements from thousands of state-owned enterprises (BUMN). “This is the first year, so it naturally takes time, roughly another one to two months,” Dony told the media at the Ministry of Finance office in Jakarta on Wednesday. Dony explained that his party is consolidating more than 1,000 companies, which requires time. During this process, certain financial reports will be eliminated. “The elimination of these reports, involving over 1,000 entities, takes time,” he said. He confirmed that Danantara’s financial report, once published, will have been audited by the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK). “Oh yes, it will be audited by BPK,” he stated. For those wishing to see the performance of individual state-owned enterprises, Dony advised that the public can view the financial reports of the respective BUMN. “You can look at each company, for instance, what are Pertamina’s figures, what are Mandiri’s, what are BRI’s,” Dony said. Dony revealed that Danantara’s financial report is currently in the pre-audit stage as part of the preparation process. Additionally, Danantara has engaged financial consultants to assist in structuring the chart of accounts so that the consolidated financial report can be prepared according to applicable standards. Dony expressed optimism that the preparation process will be faster in subsequent years once the pattern for consolidation and elimination of inter-BUMN transactions has been established.
