JAKARTA – PT Danantara Sumberdaya Indonesia (PT DSI), established to handle strategic natural resources commodity exports, has officially become a state-owned enterprise (BUMN). Head of the BUMN Management Agency (BP BUMN) and Danantara Chief Operating Officer (COO), Dony Oskaria, confirmed the status change was completed today, Monday (25 May 2026). “Today it has become a BUMN; the signing was finalised this morning,” he said during an interview at the Indonesian House of Representatives building in Jakarta. Under this status, the government, via BP BUMN, now holds 1% of Dwiwarna Series A shares in PT DSI. PT DSI was initially established on 18 May 2026 as a private company. The company will function as an export-focused BUMN, acting as the sole exporter for key strategic natural resources commodities. Initial commodities under PT DSI’s management include crude palm oil (CPO), coal, and ferrous alloys. The single-point export system will commence on 1 June 2026 as a phased rollout, with full implementation by 1 January 2027.
