The transformation of state asset management carried out by the State-Owned Enterprise Supervisory Board (BP BUMN) together with Danantara is beginning to show tangible results. Through more integrated governance, disciplined investment strategies, and professional portfolio management, Danantara continues to drive an increase in the value of state assets while strengthening the contribution of state-owned enterprises (BUMN) to the national economy.

Head of BP BUMN and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Danantara, Dony Oskaria, stated that BUMN must continue to maintain profitability through strengthened governance and increased operational effectiveness. According to him, every asset and capital managed must work optimally to create sustainable added value for the state and society.

One concrete manifestation of this improved performance is reflected in the substantial dividends distributed by several BUMN to the state and shareholders. PT Bank Mandiri Tbk, for example, approved a dividend distribution of Rp44.47 trillion, equivalent to 79% of its net profit for the 2025 financial year. This amount represents the highest dividend in the company’s history and was decided at the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (RUPST).

The dividend originates from a consolidated net profit of Rp56.3 trillion in 2025. Bank Mandiri’s positive performance was supported by credit growth of 13.4% year-on-year to Rp1,895 trillion, and an increase in Third-Party Funds (DPK) of 23.9% to Rp2,106 trillion. Of the total dividend, Rp9.3 trillion was distributed earlier as an interim dividend in January 2026, with the remainder to be paid following the RUPST.

Bank Mandiri’s President Director, Riduan, stated that the dividend distribution reflects the company’s commitment to providing optimal value for the state and all shareholders without compromising the company’s capacity to continue growing. With a total dividend per share of Rp476.55 and a dividend yield of 10.77% based on the share price at the time of the RUPST, Bank Mandiri is one of the banking issuers with the highest dividend returns in Indonesia.

BP BUMN and Danantara assess that increasing BUMN profitability will serve as a crucial foundation for sustainably maintaining and growing national wealth. Through the application of principles of effectiveness, efficiency, technology utilisation, and strong risk mitigation, BUMN are expected to generate increasingly larger dividends, enhance the value of state assets, and strengthen national economic development.
