Danantara Strengthens Global Confidence in Indonesia's Economy
The Daya Anagata Nusantara Investment Management Agency (BPI Danantara) is strengthening global confidence in the Indonesian economy. Danantara CEO Rosan P. Roeslani revealed that the fund has become one of the strategic partners most sought after by global investors. “Danantara is a strategic partner sought by many foreign investors. We have a portfolio and projects that are very attractive to foreign capital,” Rosan said in a statement in Jakarta on Thursday. Collaboration with global strategic partners is an important step in accelerating the transformation of state-owned enterprises (BUMN), while simultaneously strengthening the world’s confidence in the Indonesian economy. Strengthening international networks is expected to open wider investment opportunities, accelerate knowledge and technology transfer, and support the development of strategic sectors that provide added value for national economic growth. Head of BUMN Regulation and Danantara COO Dony Oskaria attended a meeting with President Prabowo Subianto and former Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra, who serves on the Danantara Advisory Board. The meeting was also attended by CEO Danantara and Minister of Investment and Downstreaming Rosan P. Roeslani, CIO Danantara Pandu Sjahrir, and CTO Danantara Sigit Puji Santosa. The meeting discussed various strategic cooperation opportunities that can support the transformation of BUMN and national development. Discussions focused on developing priority sectors, accelerating industrial downstreaming, strengthening corporate governance, and digital transformation through the utilisation of global networks and experience. Through synergy with various international partners, Danantara continues to encourage the creation of an increasingly credible investment ecosystem, expand access to technology and global best practices, and increase investor confidence in the prospects of the Indonesian economy. These efforts are expected to accelerate the transformation of BUMN into companies that are more competitive, adaptive, and globally competitive, while making a real contribution to inclusive and sustainable Indonesian economic growth.
