Danantara reviews PT INTI closure plan, assures no staff layoffs
Head of the State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) Regulatory Body and Danantara Chief Operating Officer (COO) Dony Oskaria stated that they are reviewing the closure of PT Industri Telekomunikasi Indonesia (INTI) and assured no staff would be laid off.
“An assessment of PT INTI’s closure is underway and under review, as previously mentioned regarding streamlining,” Dony said when met at the Senayan Parliamentary Complex in Jakarta on Monday.
During the meeting, Dony stated that Danantara is currently verifying details regarding PT INTI.
He also assured that there would be no layoffs for INTI employees.
“Jobs are secure. As we have stated, no one will be laid off,” Dony said.
The SOEs Regulatory Body, in collaboration with the Ministry of Manpower, is promoting strengthened synergy through strategic cooperation plans to ensure the SOE transformation proceeds with a ‘no one left behind’ principle and safeguards employees’ rights.
The synergy between the SOEs Regulatory Body and the Ministry of Manpower is part of efforts to ensure the SOE transformation remains healthy, professional, and sustainable while prioritising protection for all company staff.
The SOEs Regulatory Body and Danantara have reiterated their commitment to ensuring SOE transformation not only strengthens corporate performance but also provides protection and certainty for employees.
In mid-May 2026, Dony stated that he has restructured 180 companies under the SOE umbrella as part of the transformation and restructuring of SOEs to become more effective, efficient, and focused on core business lines.
This restructuring is part of a comprehensive transformation to simplify corporate structures, reduce business overlaps, and ensure each entity has a clear role in creating economic value and supporting national competitiveness.
