Danantara Reveals Latest on Single-Door Export Policy for Coal and Other Commodities

Minister of Investment and Downstreaming/Head of BKPM and CEO of Danantara, Rosan Perkasa Roeslani, has provided the latest update on the single-door export policy through PT Danantara Sumberdaya Indonesia (DSI). Rosan explained that his party is currently collaborating with several ministries and agencies to merge data into a single, integrated platform. “The objective is transparency of transactions. We aim to suppress, reduce, and even eliminate transfer pricing, under-invoicing, and inaccurate data reporting,” he stated during a press conference on the 2027 State Budget and Financial Note at the Directorate General of Taxes building in Jakarta on Friday. He added that the initial phase involves working with the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Trade, Ministry of Transportation, Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Ministry of Agriculture, and Bank Indonesia to integrate data into the platform. This will allow for daily analysis and evaluation of exports from every point, including quantity and volume, to accurately determine the total value, export figures, and tax revenue. Rosan noted that Danantara has already analysed approximately 6,500 transactions since June 2026, totalling around US$14 billion. He stressed that DSI does not act as a buyer or seller but as an agent that obtains transaction data. The agency is also preparing a publicly accessible dashboard to monitor and evaluate all transactions in detail. The full operational target for DSI is 1 January 2027, following a transition period starting 1 July 2026 with quarterly evaluations. However, President Prabowo has pushed for full implementation to begin on 1 September 2026.
