Danantara Purchases GOTO Shares, Management: Less Than 1 Percent
JAKARTA - PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) has confirmed the entry of the Badan Pengelola Investasi Daya Anagata Nusantara (Danantara) as an investor in the shares of the technology issuer.
GoTo Corporate Secretary R A Koesoemohadian stated in a disclosure to the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) on Tuesday (5/5/2026) that Danantara has purchased shares of the company amounting to less than 1 percent of the total shares issued in the capital market.
“As reported in the media, we understand that the Badan Pengelola Investasi Daya Anagata Nusantara (Danantara) has purchased a number of the company’s shares through the exchange in an amount of less than 1 percent of the shares issued by the company,” he said.
Therefore, the company welcomes this investment, just as it does investments from all other stakeholders, as a reflection of sustained confidence in the business fundamentals, performance, and long-term business prospects.
“This confidence serves as positive encouragement for the company to continue conducting business activities in a sustainable, professional manner, and grounded in good corporate governance,” he stated.
The company also consistently complies with reporting obligations regarding share ownership.
Since March 2026, GOTO has submitted share ownership reports containing information on shareholders with 1-5 percent ownership to PT Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI), as the exchange authority.
However, in accordance with BEI regulations, this information is private and only submitted on a limited basis to the exchange authority.
Public information regarding shareholders with ownership above 1-5 percent can be accessed by the public through announcements by PT Kustodian Sentral Efek Indonesia, available on the official BEI website.
It is known that GOTO’s shareholder composition above 1 percent is dominated by global institutional investors.
SVF GT Subco (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. is recorded as the largest shareholder with a 7.65 percent stake, followed by Taobao China Holding Limited with 7.43 percent.
In addition, several other major names contribute to the ownership structure, such as Google Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. and Tencent Mobility Limited, each holding around 2.48 percent of the shares.
PT Telekomunikasi Selular (Telkomsel) is also one of the strategic shareholders with 1.99 percent ownership, while other entities such as UBS AG Hong Kong, Peak XV Partners, and GoTo Peopleverse Fund complete the investor structure.
Meanwhile, from an internal perspective, share ownership by the board of directors and commissioners remains relatively small.
