Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa has revealed that the Danantara Investment Management Agency (BPI Danantara) will deposit dividends or profits from State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) into the state treasury amounting to Rp120 trillion by 2026.

Unfortunately, Purbaya does not yet know exactly when these profits from the SOEs will be transferred by Danantara. However, he remains confident that these dividends will be provided within this year.

“Danantara made the promise to the President. I will discuss later when they (Danantara) will transfer it,” said Purbaya on Thursday (3/9/2026).

Purbaya emphasised that these funds will serve as an additional buffer for the State Budget (APBN). Regarding the specific origins of these SOE dividends, Purbaya declined to elaborate further, stating only that the source is entirely comprised of SOE dividends.

“Perhaps (the SOE dividends)… I do not know. The promise was made by Mr Rosan to the President. I will simply accept it, which is a good thing,” he added.

BPI Danantara has so far declined to comment further regarding the certainty of the Rp120 trillion dividend deposit.

Previously, the COO of BPI Danantara, Dony Oskaria, stated that the decision has not yet been finalised and requires further coordination.

“It has not been decided. I do not know, we will have to check later, because I am more involved in managing the SOEs,” Dony said when met at the House of Representatives (DPR RI) some time ago.
