Danantara Prepares Top Talent Through Danantara Corporate University
The Supervisory Board for State-Owned Enterprises (BP BUMN) together with Danantara Indonesia is preparing top talent through the Danantara Corporate University. “Human resource development is the main foundation for creating SOEs that are competitive and globally competitive,” said Head of BP BUMN and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Danantara Indonesia, Dony Oskaria, in a statement in Jakarta on Wednesday. BP BUMN and Danantara Indonesia have begun to seriously work on strategic projects in the field of human resource (HR) development. This step is realised through the establishment of Danantara Corporate University as a centre for learning and developing the capabilities of SOE personnel. “A learning system is needed that is capable of producing top talent, future leaders, and HR that is adaptive to change,” he said. In a meeting held to strengthen the national talent development agenda, discussions focused on four main areas: first, the formulation of an integrated learning ecosystem; second, the development of leadership and top talent programmes; third, collaboration with educational institutions and global partners; and fourth, strengthening the strategic competencies needed to face industrial transformation. “We are preparing top talent, with a global outlook, capable of bringing Indonesian SOEs to become world-class players,” Dony said.
