Danantara prepares Rp456 billion to rescue LRT City project

The Daya Anagata Nusantara Investment Management Agency (Danantara Indonesia) has announced it has prepared Rp456 billion to resolve the problems surrounding the LRT City housing project developed by PT Adhi Commuter Properti Tbk (ADCP), a subsidiary of state-owned PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk (ADHI).

Danantara Chief Operating Officer Dony Oskaria said the funds would be used to address issues that have harmed more than 2,000 buyers of LRT City homes.

“For me it is very important that we must not harm people, and I have conveyed that to the entire management,” Dony said in an interview after the opening of the Danantara Housing Expo 2026 at NICE PIK 2, Tangerang Regency, Banten, on Thursday.

According to Dony, the consumers had set aside their savings to purchase the LRT City homes, and some had bought them as their first home.

“Imagine people setting aside their money, placing their money — that is their savings. Especially when it is money for a first home. That would be unjust,” Dony said.

Dony assured that resolving the LRT City project issues would form part of Danantara Indonesia’s commitment.

“So rest assured. I have met with them (the LRT City developer), and we will resolve this for approximately 2,000 of our fellow citizens who have already paid. I need Rp456 billion to complete this, and we will do it, that is clear,” Dony said.

“Yes, that is our commitment. It will take the form of an equity injection to complete the (LRT City) project,” Dony added.
