Danantara prepares Rp456 billion to rescue LRT City project

Investment Management Agency Daya Anagata Nusantara (Danantara Indonesia) has stated that it has prepared Rp456 billion in funds to resolve the problems of the LRT City housing project developed by a subsidiary of PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk (ADHI), namely PT Adhi Commuter Properti Tbk (ADCP).

Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Danantara, Dony Oskaria, stated that the funds will be used to resolve problems that have harmed more than 2,000 consumers of LRT City housing.

“For me it is very important that we must not harm people, and I have conveyed that to all management,” said Dony in an interview after the opening of Danantara Housing Expo 2026 at NICE PIK 2, Tangerang Regency, Banten, on Thursday.

According to Dony, consumers have set aside their savings to purchase LRT City housing, especially as some consumers bought it as their first home.

“Imagine people setting aside their money, placing their money, that is their savings. Especially if it is money for a first home. That is what is called an injustice,” said Dony.

Dony assured that resolving the problems of the LRT City housing project will be part of Danantara Indonesia’s commitment.

“So friends, trust me. I have met with them (the LRT City developer), we will resolve approximately more than 2,000 of our brothers and sisters who have paid. I need Rp456 billion for that resolution, and we will do it, that is clear,” said Dony.

Dony emphasised that the allocation of Rp456 billion in funds will come from Danantara, which will be provided in the form of capital injection to Adhi Karya and its subsidiary (the developer).

“Yes, that is our commitment. Later it will take the form of an equity injection for the completion of the (LRT City) project,” said Dony.

Previously, Dony held a meeting with the Board of Directors of PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk on Tuesday (11/08) to discuss the progress and various public complaints regarding the LRT City project being carried out by PT Adhi Karya.

Dony stressed the importance of following up on the various complaints submitted by the public, in which Adhi Karya is encouraged to strengthen communication with residents and relevant stakeholders.

“All public complaints need to be followed up immediately. Communication with residents also needs to be strengthened, so that existing problems can be resolved promptly,” said Dony.

Danantara is encouraging Adhi Karya to ensure that area management is carried out responsibly. Completion of construction and resolution of problems faced by residents are part of the follow-up requested by the government.

Previously, Minister of Housing and Settlement Areas (PKP) Maruarar Sirait stated that the government has begun preparing further steps to resolve consumer complaints regarding the LRT City project developed by ADCP.

Maruarar revealed that he had met with Head of BPKP M Yusuf Ateh and Head of BP BUMN as well as COO of Danantara Dony Oskaria to discuss the resolution of the matter.

The Ministry of PKP has also asked the public to compile a chronology, agreement documents, and proposed solutions. Meanwhile, the new board of directors of ADCP has been asked to compile a project chronology along with proposed resolutions.

Maruarar also proposed an investigative audit of the LRT City vertical housing project developed by ADCP to the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) following the stalling of the project.
