Danantara Indonesia is preparing initial public offerings (IPOs) for several state-owned enterprises (SOEs) within the next 6 to 12 months. The preparation process will be carried out through PT Danantara Asset Management (DAM), according to Pandu Sjahrir, Chief Investment Officer of Danantara Indonesia. “The process is within DAM, God willing we can focus on the next 6-12 months. There is also a process at the stock exchange, the intention is also to add liquidity to the Indonesian capital market,” Pandu said after the Gold ETF launch at the Indonesia Stock Exchange building in Jakarta on Monday. However, Pandu stated he could not yet provide certainty regarding the schedule for the upcoming SOE IPOs. He said that information regarding the plan would be communicated by Danantara Indonesia’s Chief Operating Officer, Dony Oskaria. “Just wait for it from DAM, and also Mr Dony can communicate directly,” Pandu said.
