Danantara Optimistic Consolidated SOE Net Profit Will Reach Rp360 Trillion
Jakarta (ANTARA) — Danantara Chief Operating Officer and Head of the SOE Regulatory Agency (BP BUMN), Dony Oskaria, said he was optimistic that consolidated state-owned enterprises (SOEs) could achieve net profit of Rp360 trillion in 2026.
“The improvements at our SOEs are showing extraordinary results. I expect that in 2026 we can close at net income of at least Rp360 trillion. This is a huge number for our profits,” Dony said in Jakarta on Thursday.
“I’m quite confident that, at the very least, our consolidated SOEs can make a profit of Rp360 trillion in 2026,” he added.
Dony said the profits could become a new engine of growth for the Indonesian economy. Some of the earnings would be distributed as dividends and then reinvested to finance various strategic projects.
However, he said Danantara would also need to work with strategic partners to share the equity requirements for projects.
“A project is not undertaken by us alone, because there are also equity contributions from partners we bring in, and so on. This is what the government hopes will drive economic growth,” Dony said.
Meanwhile, Finance Minister Suahasil Nazara said Danantara would not pay dividends into the state budget (APBN) in 2026 or 2027.
