Danantara Officially Included in Financial System Stability Committee, Rosan: Presidential Directive for Policies to Directly Impact the Economy

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Danantara Indonesia, Rosan Roeslani, has revealed that Danantara will begin to be involved in the Financial System Stability Committee (KKSK) forum. The involvement is a directive from the President so that policymaking does not only focus on fiscal and monetary aspects, but also has a direct impact on the business sector and the economy as a whole.

This was conveyed by Rosan after coordinating with the Acting Governor of Bank Indonesia. According to Rosan, going forward, every discussion within the KKSK will involve Danantara as part of efforts to strengthen national economic policy coordination.

“The coordination will be… the KKSK is requested to involve Danantara in every decision-making process, so that it has a direct impact on the economy and business, not just from the fiscal and monetary sides. So, it’s the whole ecosystem. The directive is for a KKSK Plus, plus Danantara,” said Rosan.

When asked whether Danantara would attend KKSK meetings regularly, Rosan indicated that the institution he leads would become part of the forum. He stated the directive received was for Danantara to participate in future KKSK meetings.

“Yes, that was the directive,” he said when asked about the possibility of Danantara attending KKSK meetings every month. Danantara’s involvement is expected to strengthen inter-agency coordination in formulating policies that impact financial system stability as well as economic growth.

Rosan described the new concept as “KKSK Plus”, a forum expanded with Danantara’s participation. He explained that this approach is taken so that every policy adopted considers not only fiscal and monetary instruments, but also the impact on investment, the business world, and the broader economic ecosystem. Thus, the resulting policies are expected to drive more effective economic growth. Rosan confirmed that Danantara’s involvement in the KKSK forum is a new development.
