Danantara Joins KSSK Meetings, Purbaya: It Has No Voting Rights

JAKARTA – Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa has said that the involvement of the Daya Anagata Nusantara Investment Management Agency (BPI Danantara) in Financial System Stability Committee (KSSK) meetings is purely to provide input, without any voting rights.

“Under the law, KSSK meetings may be attended by institutions and other invited parties. So the KSSK may invite parties from outside the committee. However, when it comes to decision-making, Danantara will not have voting rights,” Purbaya told journalists in Jakarta on Tuesday (28 July 2026).

According to Purbaya, Danantara’s inaugural participation in a KSSK meeting provided positive insight to support more precisely targeted national policy. Danantara was invited to attend the KSSK meeting in order to offer the perspective of a player managing businesses on a large scale.

“For us, that information is very useful for seeing the real conditions in the business world that Danantara is handling. When we as regulators look only at the data, interpreting that data can sometimes go slightly astray. So Danantara enriches us with additional information,” Purbaya explained.

The Finance Minister assured that decision-making in KSSK meetings remains limited to the core members, namely the Ministry of Finance, Bank Indonesia (BI), the Financial Services Authority (OJK) and the Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS).

“Going forward, Danantara will not be included as a decision-maker. However, it may certainly provide input. So this enriches the information when the Ministry of Finance, BI, OJK and LPS make decisions,” he said.

Previously, Danantara Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Rosan Roeslani said President Prabowo Subianto had directed that Danantara be involved in every KSSK meeting, so that the resulting policies would consider not only fiscal and monetary aspects, but also their impact on the business world and the economy as a whole.

“Later, the KSSK will also be asked to involve Danantara in every decision it takes, so that policies have a direct impact on the economy and the business world, not only from the fiscal and monetary side,” Rosan said.

He added that, in line with President Prabowo’s instruction, Danantara will attend KSSK meetings on a routine basis.
