Danantara Indonesia Trust has provided scholarships for 500 underprivileged students nationwide and developed a library at the National museum. The initiative is delivered in collaboration with Karya Salemba Four Foundation for scholarship distribution and Indonesia Heritage Agency for library construction.

Nuraini Razak, Chairperson of Danantara Indonesia Trust, stated the assistance aligns with the foundation’s three core pillars: health, education, and water, sanitation, and hygiene. “We aim to ensure each program we support delivers tangible impacts for communities,” she said during a memorandum of understanding signing ceremony at Danantara House on Monday, 25 May 2026.

Nuraini added that the scholarship programme not only subsidises education costs but cultivates leadership and service-oriented traits among youth. The museum library development aims to expand learning access for the public at the National museum.

Culture Minister Fadli Zon stated Danantara Indonesia Trust also contributed to revitalising the National museum, damaged in a 2023 fire. The library now serves as a showcase of Indonesian culture and civilization.

” It also sets a benchmark for other museums across Indonesia. Hopefully, Danantara can further support cultural heritage sites and museums nationwide in the future,” he said.

In addition to scholarships and the library, Danantara Indonesia Trust allocated Rp 250 billion for hexavalent vaccine procurement, immunisation logistics, and micronutrients for the Ministry of Health, targeting pregnant women and children. These contributions were channelled through partnership agreements formalised in the memorandum of understanding.
