Danantara Indonesia Drives Governance Transformation Across State-Owned Enterprises
Danantara Indonesia is committed to accelerating governance across the state-owned enterprise (SOE) ecosystem so that companies can implement Good Corporate Governance (GCG) as part of their transformation.
To that end, Danantara is seeking opportunities to strengthen inter-agency cooperation, raise oversight standards and develop more professional and sustainability-oriented corporate management practices.
Alongside building sound governance systems, Danantara is encouraging SOEs to reinforce transparency, accountability, integrity and risk management across the transforming SOE ecosystem.
One example of this progress is PT Taspen (Persero), which scored 99.19 in the Taspen GRC Insight Forum 2026’s Good Corporate Governance assessment, receiving the “Very Good” rating and recognition as a Most Trusted Company.
At Taspen’s 2026 National Working Meeting in Jakarta in early October, Billy Mambrasar, secretary of the company’s Board of Commissioners Governance Committee, said the achievement was a strategic asset for strengthening SOE governance during the transformation being accelerated by Danantara.
He said the result reflected not only the company’s success in establishing sound governance systems, but also the strengthening of transparency, accountability, integrity and risk management across the SOE ecosystem.
“With a GCG score of 99.19 and the Most Trusted Company rating, Taspen has shown that strong governance can be built through consistency, organisational discipline and ongoing oversight,” Billy said in a statement on Thursday (15 October 2026).
“I see this achievement as an important asset for Taspen to make a greater contribution to Danantara’s transformation agenda, particularly by strengthening governance standards and SOE risk management,” he said.
Danantara also said Taspen had achieved the Proactive level in its GRC Maturity Assessment, indicating that its risk management systems had become more structured and anticipatory.
The company is also continuing to raise its integrity standards by transitioning its Anti-Bribery Management System from ISO 37001:2016 to ISO 37001:2025, as well as strengthening other internationally standardised management systems.
