Danantara Housing Programme to Target Unsold SOE Properties, Rosan Says

The Danantara Investment Authority is preparing to launch a housing programme aimed at helping state-owned enterprises (SOEs) sell their unsold residential stock. Minister of Investment and Downstreaming, who is also Danantara CEO, Rosan Roeslani, said the ‘Danantara Housing’ scheme will offer more competitive interest rates and easier payment plans to accelerate absorption. Speaking at the Presidential Palace complex in Jakarta on Monday, Rosan said the initiative is designed to optimise idle property assets while expanding home ownership access for the public. He did not specify the launch date or the amount of financing to be allocated for the programme.
